EL
PESCADOR / DALLAS
The goal here, through the use of muted hues, a spacious seating plan and intimately lit alcoves, was to create a subtle grotto-like space where patrons could concentrate on the cuisine and their dinner companions -- and in effect, we were able to create very private settings in a public place. |

KIRBY'S
STEAKHOUSE / DALLAS To take "the next generation" of Kirby's, a Dallas tradition dating back to the Fifties, and move it into the 21st Century -- yet without disturbing the homey atmosphere that had made the place a city stalwart -- we used a warm but muted color scheme and just a touch of Early Americana, resulting in the harmonious blending of both old and new in an atmosphere of informal elegance. |

TIA'S
/ ADDISON Judicious use of a warm but not overheated triadic color scheme created an ambience that is lively and vibrant without being garish; neon, bright art and colorful floral displays provide points of interest. The overall feel is "tropical" without becoming overwhelmingly so. |

PABLO'S / FORT WORTH Bright, vibrant complementary colors, lush tropical plantings, traditional south of the border materials and an asymmetrical layout used for Don Pablo's recreate the exciting and spontaneous "fiesta" atmosphere of the courtyard of a Mexican hacienda. |

TEXAS
EMBASSY CANTINA / LONDON Perot brought the colorful "English"; we brought the sandy sun-tempered colors and rough-hewn textures of Southwest Texas to prim and proper London, with the result that the Brits got veddy excited.... |
